The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and even helped me pick out some delicious tea I could drink even with my caffeine sensitivity.

I love finding coffee spots like this one. It is a small, quaint, nicely decorated coffee shop with adequate seating and fun things to look at. The oatmylk mocha I ordered had a rich flavor, not overly sweet. My friend ordered an iced coffee sprinkled with flower petals and gold bits- very cute! I was happy to find this gem before heading back home. When I'm back in Burbank, I'll swing by again!

ordered online to oklahoma for a gift; they arrived swiftly! i emailed the company for a shipping number after i ordered and they warned me of a two week turnaround due to being busy. haven’t tried the tea, but happy with my first order! edited to add as i just saw it- i received this lovely sample in my order, how exciting! (pic description : a bag the size of a bic lighter, labeled “Courtesan’s Blend - Ingredients : Oolong tea, cinnamon, clove, natural vanilla flavouring”) 2nd edit: i don’t know if i can make a second review so i’ll put it here! paid on the 3rd, arrived on the 9th! i bought prepare for trouble as a gift, and the reciever requested more for her birthday! since i’m already shopping here, i bought mistress of the dark for my husband for valentine’s day. he says it’s lovely, pleasantly floral and very flavorful. i tried my sample and it’s citrusy deliciousness! pleased with my purchases overall and will be back in the future. [image id: starting from left going clockwise, an ounce of mistress of the dark tea (dark tea, black tea, blue butterfly pea flower, safflower, bergamot oil, and pomegranate oil), two ounces of prepare for trouble (black tea, pink peppercorn, ginger, star anise, licorice root, and black peppercorn), and a free sample of caged heart tea (black tea, orange peel, roasted dandelion, more orange peel, nettle leaf, osmanthus flower, and natural lemon flavoring)]

Friday is an absolute pleasure to work with (even all the way from the east coast), anytime I had questions or issues with orders she would be quick to reply and extremely accommodating. The teas are also super good. I have purchased a few for myself as well as friends as gifts and they all love it. I've also gotten a few little sample packs with my orders, and they've all been spot on with what I like. I will continue to buy from Friday Afternoon Tea!

It has been dog friendly to several that have stopped by while I've been in the shop. There is also a "shop dog" that is sometimes present and in training who is the owner's dog. Another regular customer often brings their dog with them to casually hang out who is well-behaved. So, if your dog is friendly/well-trained, likely would be welcome. Of course, I'm just a customer so can't answer definitively.
We do not, as we have no in-house kitchen. We do, however, offer more casual fare in the form of a coffee shop-style “grab & go” fridge with locally made wraps, sandwiches, yogurts, pastries, etc.
Thank you for asking! We require masks at all times in the shop, have hand sanitizer in multiple places around the store and clean all transaction touch points with alcohol between every transaction. No in-store consumption is permitted, but to-go tea service is still in play. We encourage guests to move through the space quickly and not linger. It is our intention to remain at this level of safety practice until Phase 3 at the very earliest, despite state restrictions being more lenient than our own.
We will very soon be carrying baked goods from local bakeries! Look for tasty cookies, scones and more within the next two weeks.
