La Palma Intercommunity Hospital: Emergency Room

The wait time for the Emergency Room listed on their website is incorrect. The interior of their building is dirty and old. I don't think they understand the meaning of the word, "emergency." You'll be sitting here for hours in pain. Cali healthcare is just trash compared to New England. So good luck to you! Probably better off making an appointment with your Doctor because it will be the same wait time. Unfortunate, but true.

Terrible hospital. Even if you show up with your arm cut off they gone give you a norco and a motrin and say thats all we can do. Waist of time do not come to this hospital.

My Six year old suffered a head injury and this hospital was the closest to get to. From the minute we walked into the ER the guy with the tattoos working was so amazing and sweet, they got us right in, the nurse I think was named Jonathan was amazing, the doctor came right to the front, I forget the doctors name but by far the sweetest doctor I have ever met, calmed me down , was so thorough, walked with my son and I to the CT department, stayed inside with us. The service was all around fast and wonderful. All these bad reviews written I can't even understand as this was not my experience at all. Ten stars is what they deserve, impeccable service.

HORRIBLE PLACE ! DON'T COME HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR LOVED ONES TO BE DEAD EARLY OR BE TREATED LIKE A DOG. TOOK MY MOM HERE, SHE WAS ALMOST UNCONSCIOUS, COULDN'T BREATH. THE MALE NURSE WITH LOTS OF TATTOOS ON BOTH ARMS AND HANDS DIDN'T EVEN LOOK AT ME WHEN HE ASKED ME TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK. THE NURSE NAME TANIA LOOKED AT MY MOM THE WAY LIKE "WHATEVER, YOU'RE A LIAR OR YOU'RE GOING TO DIE ANYWAY" WHEN I TRIED TO BE NICE SAID THANKS TO HER, SHE REACTED "UH HUH" THEN WE HAD TO WAIT FOR ALMOST AN HOUR, THEY SAID THEY WERE TOO BUSY. I TOLD THEM "SOME PEOPLE THEY DON'T HAVE MINUTES TO WAIT FOR YOU" . THEN DOCTOR KO CAME OUT SAID THE SAME THINGS, LOOKED GRUMPY, AND WALKED AWAY WITHOUT SAYING BYE. THIS PLACE IS NOT A HOSPITAL, IT'S MORE HELL LIKE. IF YOUR LOVED ONES GET SICK, HURT, TAKE THEM TO SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE THEY TAKE ABOUT 10 SECONDS TO HELP YOU OUT, AND PAPERWORK AFTERWARD. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! !!!!!
