I'm new to Urban Plates and so far, each experience has been top notch! The food is healthy and impeccable. The plate pass is such a deal, I recommend it for anyone looking for great food at an affordable rate. So far I am loving it!! David at Urban Plates in Aliso Viejo is also super stellar! He's been so warm and friendly anytime my boyfriend or I come in and he is always so polite. Really great customer service too! So you combine great customer service with HEALTHY food that's always made to perfection at affordable prices......what more can you ask for? SCORE!

I absolutely love this place! Homemade food that is very reasonably priced. Don't change the portion size unless it's to make them bigger :)! I have never been a fan of Mac and cheese until I tried theirs. The salmon is delicious, as well as the tomato soup with pesto. Everyone is nice but my favorite ate David and my girl Sandy. Thank you both for always going the extra mile.

This review is only about the new burger. Normally we have a wonderful meal at Urban plates that is until we tried the burger. Unfortunately it was just a conglomeration of tastes and no star at all. The bun was cold and doughy, the meat was not hot when it arrived at our table. To be honest the $5 in and out cheeseburger is hands above. With drinks our total came to $31. The fries were good but once again nothing stood out. Hope your experience is different.

I usually LOVE this place and as usual, I ordered from DoorDash. I ordered their steak salad this time, but replaced the steak with the sea bass as I wanted to try a new menu item. Ugh…. I could not tell the problem right away, since they slather the fish with all sorts of herbs. But you can see in the pictures how completely raw this fish is. And then DoorDash took almost an hour to only offer me a refund. This isn’t about just receiving the wrong order. This is about a restaurant sending out absolutely raw and undercooked, non sushi grade fish. Why would anyone send out food that could cause someone to get really sick? You can see in the picture that only some of the ends were cooked, so I do hope I don’t get sick. Accidents happen, but there is really no excuse for this. But hey, maybe the restaurant wanted to hurry and close to get home on a Saturday night vs taking care of their customers by serving healthy, edible food as advertised. Priorities 🙃
