TERRIBLE Billing practices. Predatory pricing by the only cable provider in the area. My local provider (Wave cable) was recently acquired by Astound. My bill for internet service ONLY has gone up 30 percent overnight and customer service is unable to make changes, or apply a "discount package". High speed internet from these folks now costs more than starlink which will be available soon in my area - off to explore that option now.

So far not off to a good start beings a new customer! There is not much to choose from out in Port Angeles.. very sparse pickings. Set everything up online, scheduled an install for internet service... No Call No Show!! I called the number provided on the website.. was on hold forever.. ABSOLULTY NO HELP what so ever from the person I spoke with regarding my scheduled install for service! Called back the next day, spoke with someone else.. again I get "Sorry about that" .... are you really... they don't care! What happened to good customer service? Completely gone! I rescheduled my brand new internet service... lets see if someone shows up this time! Fingers Crossed!!! Hoping the wifi service is way better than the customer service & people who are representing this company!

Our install was (I hope not typical). The technician (Nick) arrived at our house at 1:30 and went right to work. He's a hard worker and kept us informed the whole time. Our house did not cooperate in getting signal in back master. Nick spent hours trying to get a signal; called for help and did what was suggested. About 4-4:30 he called for backup and two other technicians showed up. Finally, they were able to get signal to go thru but said we needed to upgrade to 1G. We do not need 1G as we are not gamers! But, after all day of work, I said yes and agreed to the price of $79. I appreciate the discount but am not happy with the increase in cost for something we do not need nor did we originally agree to. I would like the original agreed upon rate to be honored. Please contact me. Thank you.

Unbelievable! I have had Wave for 2 month and I was bill $151 for the first month $202 the second month and just received the bill for the up coming moth for over $375 and they won't answer the phone to know why the keep charging my CC for those amounts. I'm on retirement funds, no way I can fund this.

The channel lineups available online from gowave.com/channel are up-to-date with the most recent lineup in your area.
Out here on the peninsula, your potential options (with unlimited usage as an option) are basically CenturyLink, Wave, or a Verizon phone prepaid with "always on" hotspot and "EvDo only" on. Wave is the fastest but sometimes has terrible latency which makes gaming impossible. Definitely do a benchmark test for best possible DNS server.
