I love my new bike so much that I barely slept the first night, thinking about getting an attachment and going out riding with my dog. The friendly staff were so helpful getting me a new bike. I'm short, so it took a lot of work to find the right bike and get the right seat for me. They did the seat adjustment work right then, and also attached the lights I bought. I would definitely recommend Ben's Bikes to anyone who wants a bike.

BEWARE!!! We purchased two new TREX ebikes from Ben’s Bikes with the verbal assurance that we would be completely satisfied or we could return them for a full refund. Furthermore, having researched online we were aware of the TREX return policy “Returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase. Bring your order, with proof of purchase, to your local Trek retailer.” We rode the bikes one time for a total of approximately one mile and found they could not possibly accommodate our needs due to the long and steep incline at our residence. We immediately contacted the bike shop to affect a return. The owner “Sam” refused to accept the return unless we agreed to an amount of 50 percent of the purchase price. He refused to be reasonable and walked away. We contacted the TREX corporate office which negotiated a return with the Port Townsend store, and the owner “Pete” was very helpful, gracious, and accommodating, as were the corporate people. The peninsula is generally bike friendly and Sequim needs several bike shops as competition is good and healthy for business. However, based on our experience Ben’s Bikes is bad for the bicycle industry and Sequim in particular. So, if you are considering the purchase, rental, or repair of a bicycle I suggest that you look a little further than Ben’s Bikes of Sequim.

The service department was able to get me in on an emergency as I was touring and had an issue with my bike. They took care of the immediate issue and informed me of some other issues that should be taken care of in the near future. I appreciated them taking care of me on such short notice and allowing me to continue on my tour without delay.

Yes, we can add an electric assist motor to your recumbents. Yes, we sell the motors.
We work on any brand and model of bike but we need to see it to provide an answer to cost and time frame for repair. Bring it in for a free evaluation.
We use the normal and customary practices of a typical retail bicycle shop.
Hi, We do not carry the Liberty Trikes. We stock the Raleigh Tri-Star 3 speed trike. If you are looking specifically for an electric upright trike the Raleigh can be converted to electric trike. If you'd like to come into our store, we can get you set up on a test ride. We encourage test rides on the upright trike because they don't ride like a bicycle.
