I wish I can give negative stars. PPD is very unprofessional and incompetant in investigations! They should have their inflated wages cut drastically and work harder, because they are a bunch of failures. They don't like it? They can quit and work flipping burgers for minimum wage.

I'm literally trying to provide video and help solve property crime in Portland to no avail. Calls to the "non-emergency" help line just drop randomly and now I've been on hold for an hour. I just want to provide the licence plate and video of the people stealing from our neighbourhood at night. Can we please use some of the insane amount of taxes we pay for funding the police!?

On hold for over an hour to file a theft report. Unhelpful, untimely and certainly not surprised. Our tax dollars pay for uselessness, racism and to not be protected what-so-ever. If I didn’t have to file this police report to have record of it I would never dream of calling any police department in this country. -5 stars.

If there were any officers to do... policing I'm sure they would be good. But since the only thing they seem to respond to are violent actions and have no one for literally anything else I have to ask what's the point of them?

In Portland, the police will not protect you. You are lucky they didn't beat you up and mug ya. Because the police would have watched and not helped.

You can take them to any sheriff's office or police department they have a drop off their for ammo and also for medication. Look up the different departments online but call first a lot of them have closed down recently

You can fill out a report on line. Go to Portland Police website. Look for the "I want to"...area. You will see where it says make police report
