We currently have 3 dogs from Kraftwerk and I couldn’t ask for better best friends. They were exactly as Wayne described them. He listened to what we wanted/needed and guided us in the right direction. He even veered us away from a dog I thought would suit us, but he knew it wouldn’t. Wayne was honest and I appreciate that. His staff is top notch and very helpful. I would purchase from Kraftwerk K-9 again and again:)

A month in and we are so in love with our new pup. After loosing an amazing GSD after 10-years, our hearts were broken. Our new Kraftwerk K9 pup has returned joy to our home. Our new pup, Henry, is very smart and is quite an amazing dog. Potty trained after one week, and he never had a poop accident in the home. Wonderful temperament and easy to train. We are thrilled with our GSD. You can't put a price on such an amazing dog. I would give 10-stars with I could.

As a kid, watching all those classic movies (Ole Yeller etc) and having my own pet loss growing up, I kind of put up a wall. Even though I loved & cared for those pets through the years, I never really felt a connection, that deep attachment like I’ve always heard about. That was until I met Sheba (born Jordi vom Kraftwerk). Sheba has been my most loyal companion, my shadow, my sunshine, my shoulder to cry on, my protector, my biggest fan and 💯 my family. She never saw me as anything but her person, unconditionally loved me, cared for me. She was so full of life, she brought me so much joy. She was my soulmate, my very best friend. I’ve had a chance to get to know 5 other Kraftwerk dogs over the past 13yrs and although each dog is completely unique in their own way, they are/have been the best dogs that their owners will attest to. I do know that Kraftwerk goes the extra mile to bring us the best companion, protection dog one could ever ask for. I know I’m very lucky to have met and loved Sheba.

We bought the most gorgeous german shepherd from Kraftwerk. We love her dearly and continue to make the best of the situation but want to inform potential buyers of our experience. The training she received between Germany and Washington has left her severely traumatized. We've spoken to multiple dog professionals that made us aware of this. We hoped it would get better but over a year of doing our best and loving her she is skittish, hair stands up as soon as someone new walks in (in a scared not aggressive way), growls when I try to pet her or call her, will not come if shes outside if she doesn't want to, has chewed up multiple items, accidentally bit our young daughter twice in belly and rear end, etc. Lastly, my girlfriend who picked her up from Kraftwerk the dog is petrified of not being attached to her every second of the day. The dog cannot relax if she is put outside she paces back and fourth like she's going to lose her. If we close her out of a room she will try to open the door nonstop like an abandonment fear. We honestly feel like the dog is a nervous wreck all day and feel bad for her. Now for the positives. She's gorgeous obviously from flawless bloodlines, shes great on a leash, confident with other dogs around doesn't freak out, and is friendly and not aggressive. If i had to do it over again I'd suggest not having the dog go through all that training and potential mistreatment and purchase a puppy from Kraftwerk or another avenue. Until then we'll keep loving this beautiful girl and hope one day she'll feel more comfortable in her 3rd new setting.

This is an old question, but aggression is a genetic trait. It should be bred into the animal and thus, dogs with aggression need diligent structure and training for it to be managed and channeled. It can be channeled into protection work or the sport, but you can't take a dog who doesn't have it and make them aggressive. Not all German shepherds have the bred aggression and not all dogs with aggression should be guard dogs.
