Took my deer in to have pineapple bourbon jerkey made as well as cheesy pepperoni. They said it will take a week or 2. I finally stopped by on the 3rd week picked it up. I got half pepper pepperoni (we don't do hot) and ground hamburger. I asked and they said they couldn't do what I requested which was offered at the time of drop off, not a call to change order nor offer my meat back. I've emailed them as well and no response. The two ladies working the front were great. That is all I can say positive about them. It was a waste of my personal deer that they did wrong. Do not recommend them.

I really like the meat. And the service has been very good. But, I have been informed that the owners are keeping the tips from the tip jar on the counter and not giving them to the employees. This has actually upset me to the point that I'm now asking all the local businesses if the tips go to the employees before I tip anywhere. I've been trying to tip more in the community since so many people in service have had such a hard year. I hope they changed this practice. I was disappointed. Update 09/29/21: I see your sign says your are hiring. FYI: People need money to pay rent. When you lose staff to other businesses, it's not because the other business is giving them a better Christmas party. It seems you have created your own labor shortage by how you are treating your employees. When you take money the community thinks is going directly to the employee serving them that day. I am just disappointed in your value set as a business I am regularly giving money to.

Everytime I've been there I get excellent service and the price is great for high quality meat. I love how they package all the meats in prefect portions to pull out one or two depending on meal size. Other butcher shops just give you all the steaks in one big package so then I have to come home and put it all in separate food saver bags which is a hassle. Headed there right now to buy a beef pack and pork pack. 😀

Was visiting, and decided to stop in and grab a few things for a barbecue and, let's be honest, a few to take home with me. The first thing that caught me was the smoked meat case. Everything looked delicious, and they were running a great sale that let me snag quite a bit to take home. And let me tell you, the landjagers are phenomenal. I got both varieties, regular and spicy, and neither disappointed! Though I'm personally partial to the spicy. The freezer pack section caught me eye next. They have a great variety, and I ended up picking out some New York strip steaks. Just looking at everything they have, I know they'll be great! The staff were very friendly, and best of all knowledgeable about their products without being pushy. They even let me know they run weekly sales, so you can try something new and save a few dollars. All in all, a fantastic place. If you live nearby (or, like me, are visiting), swing in for a great selection of high quality meat!
