I had a bad experience with a haircut. First of all, it was about an inch shorter than I had asked. But the main thing was that I asked for (first pic) a look at was really layered and got NO layers. It looks like my head is a triangle now. Even if this was the style I had asked for it looks bad.

Their only saving grace was being fast. All I wanted was a maintenance on my under cut. Literally shaving underneath. She was rough and uneven. Knicked me with the sharp corner of the clippers more than once. I will have to go elsewhere to get it fixed. Very little care. Never going back. After reading more of the reviews I realized that I got someone who's ruined a lot of people's hair. I should sue on behalf of all the people whose hair she ruined including mine.

The gal that was there when my mother-in-law and I walked in was rather aloof and abrupt simultaneously. I didn't appreciate her demeanor or the manner in which she spoke to my MIL whatsoever. She said it would be about a 45 minute wait as she was waiting for 2 replacement employees to arrive. I asked what the matter was and she told me the other two were not feeling well. I thought she meant they weren't coming in vs they were there and going home. We waited about 15 minutes and I notice a young woman coming from the back with her arm across her mouth and nose moving relatively quickly toward the door. I scooted my chair a bit further away from the door and she burst through to the outside. I asked the previously dealt with lady if that was one of the employees that was ill and she hesitated and affirmed my question. My MIL was a bit uncomfortable at that point as was I. Next thing I know the second employee came from the back and it was quite apparent she waa most definitely ill. I was very concerned at that point and expressed that to my MIL. She said she felt the same way. My MIL was called next for her haircut and was done in approx 15 minutes. She paid her bill and when she didn't leave a tip the Haircutter #1 made a derisive sound. I told my MIL we'll find a different place to get her hair cut next month as that was extremely rude behaviour on that gal's part. A gratuity is NOT a given and under the circumstances of no regard for public health you most certainly have NOT earned one. I am writing this to warn others thinking about going to here for a haircut to call before and ask if anyone's been ill in the last 48 hours that works there. Hopefully they will answer honestly. We are living in a world still affected by the pandemic and now with 3 variants it is paramount we are kept out of harm's way in service businesses.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
