Lovely space on the side of Lake Whatcom. Varied breakfast menu that all looked good. My chicken fried steak was a perfect portion, crispy and spicy, slathered with a corned beef gravy and accompanied by eggs and crunchy potatoes. A homemade biscuit with house butter and an amazing berry jam was an unexpected bonus. Combine a visit to this well run restaurant with a hike on one of the local trails for a perfect half day out.

It wasn't busy and we waited 50 minutes for a burger and BLT. The food was good, could have been great. The server seemed dis interested in her job. If the server were attentive, she could have eased my displeasure, but she only walked by a couple of times. They had a chance and lost me as a guest.

10/10 recommend. We ordered the southern mac and cheese w/ bacon, as well as the fish and chips. The best service, location, ambiance, drinks, and food. Would make a perfect brunch or date night spot.

Outdoor dining and takeout only
There is no specific gluten free menu, but they are very accommodating, and specifically gifted at flavors. I'm sitting here now awaiting our second dish.
Dogs are absolutely allowed on the patio.
The outdoor seating is seasonal, but the restaurant is open year-round.
No, but I would recommend one. It isn't that big of a place and can fill up easily.
