Room location not honored, made reservation 5+ months in advance. Staff loud in areas of rooms. First floor rooms should be a quiet zone and set by example by the employees. Breakfast items and coffee was bad bad bad and staff worker didn't care and was rude. So much for a IHG friendly face and tasty breakfast as they promote. We will never stay at the Winona site again due to the poor service and staff attitude. We've stayed at nearly 100 IHG establishments is the past 30 years and even though some have various non supportive services. Winona is rated as the worst we've ever encountered.

Checked into our room to find the toilet clogged with poop. No facial tissue, nor sugar and creamer with the coffeemaker. Two plastic cups for the three of us, as well as towels. Overall impression is one of stinginess. Holiday Inn Express is a good chain, but management needs to audit this particular location.

The bathrooms are dirty, rings in toliet where they didn't clean and shower was dirty and very slippery. Tile was coming up. The front desk lady was supper nice but who ever was doing breakfast was rude to not only us but the other couple that came up after us. I wish I would have gotten her name cause she was very rude. Want come back to this hotel for sure.

This is the loudest hotel I’ve experienced in years. I stay in hotels 2-3 nights a week and I haven’t ever experienced this kind of loud by design problem in an IHG hotel before. Walls a paper thin. Surfaces reflect and amplify rather than absorb sound. Lots of people say this place is run-down and dirty, it is. But the noise is the real problem. It’s impossible to get a decent amount of sleep here.
