Best BBQ pork in town! Came here 12 years ago when I studied in Seattle and they still maintain the same consistent quality. I missed having their roast pork though (it was sold out already when I get there). Would recommend you to try their scrumptious meal if u happen to visit Seattle!

Got a few lbs of the crispy pork and the ginger chicken. Good price. Pork was a little on the salty side that day but the ginger chicken was great. I wish they used actual free range chicken that would be awesome.

We paid for parking to come dine in and was surprised they only have the dining room opeing on weekends, so we had to get the food to go. I got the half duck for $14 and the meats do not come with any sides, so you have to buy rice and veggies if you want. It does come with one "duck sauce" that tasted more like regular soy sauce and i did not like it much. You can but I suggest buying the plum sauce for .60c each to go with it. They were out of chicken, and that's one of the main things I came for. He did butcher the duck in front of you, and that's nice, but don't expect the bones the be cut out; you just have to eat around them. The portions are great for the price overall, but when you add the sauces and the sides, it does get a bit expensive. I would try again next time I'm in Seattle, but maybe go for lunch instead.

Very old school Chinese BBQ place. Got the rice plates and the BBQ pork and roast pork with the crispy skin were pretty good. However our roast duck was too salty and the soy sauce chicken just a little dry but we got white meat, perhaps next time see if the dark meat if better.

Whatever happened to the KauKau cocktail lounge, on 2nd Ave., in Seattle , of the 60’s ?

We ate at Lau Kai last month. It has relocated to the International District. They have a HUGE royal blue fish in a window tank named Swoosh that was gifted to them by customers when the original fish named Swish passed on. Food was delicious and very reasonable. The service was great..parking was the only difficulty. I will return for sure!

Only 2 in two order at a time. No indoor dining when I went 2 weeks ago.

Delivery options? My partner is wheelchair bound, parking difficult. Uber eats, door dash?
