Staff is amazing. The night crew in particular. They went well out of their way to help accommodate an error in booking and made sure I felt valued and important as Marriott customer. Whoever runs this location must truly pick out the best of the best for employees and the whole place was immaculately clean. Even the cleaning staff were overly polite and courteous , they held the elevator for me and then insisted that I take it and they would wait, as well as opening doors for me everywhere I went. This was an amazing experience and should be a five-star hotel.

Nice rooms, small bathroom, pet stains on carpet. Quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff very unprofessional.

the hotel staff was attentive, courteous; the areas (rooms, pool, lobby) were clean and well maintained... the location was excellent, centrally located to airport, downtown area, lido beach ... HOWEVER, no continental breakfast (no orange juice, no coffee, no muffins, no nothing) was available -- outrageous in consideration of the cost per room per night (only an inhouse starbucks at outrageous prices were offered)... AND the internet service was shoddy at best, in an out at all times of the day, definitely not conducive for a work related experience... the management is aware of the in-and-out internet service and indicated repairs were ongoing, but for a marriott, not offering a breakfast and quality technological service was unacceptable ...

My Stay was excellent. I was visiting Sarasota for a vacation and I have to say that it was a beautiful hotel, pool was great, and let me tell you the jacuzzi was great as well. I read some comments on here about not having enough towels but that is not true they do have enough towels and staff was really friendly too. I am from California so the temperature of the room was great. I also would love to stay again at this hotel in the future because I really loved Sarasota
