Community action help me to pay my rent November and December 2020 during COVID-19 they also pay my BGE bill but they take a lot of time The only thing I don’t like it it is their phone call it’s not an urgent phone calls you have to keep call and call and call 📞 Until sometime you ask yourself really So good luck guys you can try it but patient is required if you’re not patient don’t waste your time to community action!!

This place is available to Washington county Oregonians. They work to help residents with rental, heating, and/or water bill assistance. They work hard to provide aid to as many residents in a month. These people can be reached by phone or by email.

Would give them 10 stars if I could. Twice in my life I was really down on my luck. My mom died and the next day I was laid off work. Then again later I hurt myself and was unable to work briefly. Both times they came to my rescue & went above & beyond! The people there are nothing short of Angels & were so compassionate & sincere. As long as you LISTEN to their directions and follow the guidelines mandated you will not be Disappointed. Anyone who left less than 5 stars most likely did not pay attention to what they had to say or were unable to meet the requirements in order to receive the aid. Thank you for being there for those of us who need a little help every now & then. I was able to give back now that I am on my feet and hope they will be able to help others. They have only a certain amount to spend each month so if they run out of $ please don’t blame them. Be patient & persistent with calling for an appointment. They will get back to you. They can only do so much! God Bless that group!

I cannot explain the help these wonderful souls provided in our time of need. They don't judge you at all. We ran into hard times when I was very ill and we're more than happy to help us out. Eloise was incredible and compassionate. I never felt like I was there for the wrong reasons or that just because I drove a car and had a nice phone that I was being judged for asking for help from the community. I appreciate them so mucj for just loving and giving. Special people it takes to do this job. They're there for the right reasons. Thank you ladies!

Call Community Action and explain the details of the situation so they can advise you on how to proceed. You'll never know until you ask. They can also help with utilities.
Yep just call on the 8th of the month set your appointment then bring your 72-hour notice and proof of income or lack thereof and they help you out.
They helped me with my rent and electricity bill

Find community action website and request an appointment.
Give them a call, they should do a phone screen to see if you might qualify. They'll setup an appointment and you will need to bring documentation that they all for.
