Was in the Portland area with family for a couple weeks and needed a good go-to place for RC parts as I had a couple of my rc cars with me that I'm pretty hard on. After going to a few different places Tammies was the last one I was going to look at for the day and immediately I noticed the place was extremely clean, staff was very friendly and came right to me seeing if I needed help. I had my two young boys with me ages 6 and 7, and the staff was very friendly with them, making jokes with them keeping them occupied while I talked to staff about what I was looking for. The prices were the best I found in the metro area too. Ended up buying what I needed and bought some of the parts I felt would be the next to break. They knocked off like 10 or 15% if I remember correctly, for no reason, they just did it. And I bought my kids a little something to for each of them. Oh that's what the discount was for, because I bought toys for my kids. Left extremely happy. During my stay in Portland I ended up going there about 6 times maybe more. Always left happy. Parking is awesome there too. Easy in, easy out, lots of room. I highly recommend this place for all your hobby needs. I'm just into RC cars but I seen stuff for trains, planes, drones, models, rockets, and lots of other stuff. Check them out.

Loved the customer service, and the prices aren't too shabby. The staff was able to help me with my drone problem and get me what I needed, and I picked up a few things that I saw on my way up to the counter. Only reason why they don't get all 5 stars is because the selection of done parts could be better, but I get the issues. Overall, I would recommend you stop in and let them help you with all of your hobbies.

Great hobby store, the staff is professional and the shop is clean. I don’t know their name, but someone there that I’ve spoken too a few times ensures there’s always Gunpla kits on the shelves which is nice. Definitely worth checking out if you are into gundams, 30 minutes missions, or other modeling kits. Everything is a great price as well. They have some DND related items too and even Pokémon cards, worth checking out.

Fantastic hobby store - 10/10. My son and I were down in Beaverton visiting from Victoria BC and decided to grab ourselves a long desired RC car, and Chris especially couldn't have been more helpful. That guy seriously knows his stuff and was so patient with all our questions and excitement. He even accommodated a special request and didn't hesitate to help us out. From now on we'll save our RC money and only spend it here when we come down, my son and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. Thanks again guys!

That's a tough one. Most of the items in our store are geared for older kids and adults, as far as actual hobbies are concerned. At the age of three most kids are not developmentally able to dive into a hobby. For that reason, we have some great play toys in our stock. One of those is Playmobil, and it has a mixture of building pieces and constructed set pieces that encourage a young child's imagination. The toys are themed, but experience has shown that kids can take a themed toy and reconfigure it in their minds to whatever they want. The themes are family friendly and cheerful and will allow a child to create a fantasy world that they can collect and play with. Hope this helps.
Unfortunately we don't purchase model ships. And our consignments are limited to model trains, rc cars, planes, helicopters, and drones. I would recommend asking one of the local model boat clubs if they would be interested.
Was just there last week. Good selection of Traxxas vehicles. I think I saw the Maxx. Ultimate desert racer amongst others. Also had Tamiya and Horizon hobby brands.

Currently, we do not. Because of the pandemic manufacturers are having a hard time getting enough product to market to satisfy every store or consumer.
While we do not buy remote control cars or planes, we are happy to help you sell them through our consignment program. But please call ahead to make sure we have room on our ceiling (for planes) or in our display case (for cars). And now we offer consignment for model railroad items. Again, please call ahead before bringing your item(s) down to the store.
We do carry HO slot cars and 1/32 slot cars all year 'round. However, our selection is fuller as we get closer to Christmas. During the rest of the year we can bring items into the store from what is available through our distributors.
No. We have been in the Beaverton - Portland - Tigard area for more than 50 years as a family run business. Expansion is not something we are planning. Thanks for asking, though. Hopefully you'll be able to make the trip up here. We think it will be worth it.
Fantasy encompasses a wide range. We have started to carry in 2019 Warhammer 4000 and Age of Sigmar products. We carry a very large selection of Gundam, Star Wars, Star Trek, and recently some of the nostalgic space ships from the 1950s and 1960s. We try to keep that section well stocked, but it sells very quickly.
We do not carry any of their diecast models. We have had several requests for them, but so far we cannot find a distributor that sells them to stores like ours.
I am not really sure, but they do have a wide variety of choices and if what you seek is not in stock they may be able to order it for you

They have a pretty good RC parts collection ranging from buggies, trucks, crawlers and even trains, planes, helos and drones.
Andy, they have a ton of gunman model kits. They have some of the best prices in the area too. If you ever want something special ordered find colby. He can usually work his way through the catalog and manage the suit names well. While you're at it, if you've got a fb join "the sleeves - your Oregon gunpla community" on fb.
