I check this place out once every other week or so, so I like it, but..... Sometimes the prices are out of line... Example black plastic pot for plants were $1, you can get them new for $.25 They sometimes don't except good items, so I stopped donating stuff cause I end up taking stuff back home and throwing it away... I feel like if you accept donations you should also deal with a bit more good stuff that maybe isn't exactly what you want... Good plumbing and flooring section But your paint brushes here. Same name brand brushes as home depot, half or less price.

They often get new DONATIONS from a variety of retailers. Typically the donated merchandise is outdated, not moving quick enough, substandard quality, unique items that weren't selling etc. They get everything from bed sheets made from inferior materials to flooring that is brittle and scratches easily. The ReStore doesn't consider the majority of their shoppers aren't interested in this stuff at the near (or above) retail prices they are asking. Due to this, some merchandise sits for months or years on the shelves making return visits seem like a waste of time.

Great place to find cool items for the home, or to use for building, crafting...I could go on! Very nicely organized, brightly lit store that has so many cool different things that can be given a new life. If you like a big piece, you're encouraged to get it yourself and bring it up to the cashier. Most times they can't help you- so keep that in mind if you're by yourself! I learned that the hard way! No regrets though, and I'll definitely be back.

I like the one on 181st and Glisan. Much more of a variety of items available. This one has a lot of home furniture and remodel stuff. Like flooring and things like that. Only a super small section for miscellaneous knick knacks and home decor. I didn't see any clothing either or shoes. Everything looked pretty much to be in very good or better condition though. I would definitely return if I end up needed anything they have for sale. Maybe in the future Portland Restore. Thank you anyway!

We normally accept items like this pool table when it is fully-assembled. It's difficult to sell otherwise, and parts have away of disappearing.
Yes! We do accept item donations. We do offer a donation pick up service for items. There is a $40 fee for donation pickups to help us offset the costs with providing this service. The fee will be collected at the time of your pickup appointment. Visit https://pdxrestore.org/donate for donation guidelines and to schedule your pickup.
Its all hit and miss... I suppose you could call them and ask if they have one at the moment.
Absolutely

We require face masks and 6-ft social distancing. We are not accepting cash, only cards for payment, and we are limiting the number of people in our stores at one time. Hand sanitizer is also available. We continue to be cautious in order to protect shoppers, donors, volunteers and staff. Thanks for asking!
Yes, we love to have children in the store as long as they are being supervised. We do have a lot of loading and unloading going on, and breakable items, too, so we want everyone safe. Thanks for asking!
We often have washers at our stores, Betty, however, we don't have a list of donated inventory for our four store locations, and great items arrive all day long. Oh, and by the way, right at this moment we have a brand new Whirlpool washer/dryer combo for sale in our online store at pdxrestore.org. Here's a direct link to that item: https://shoppdxrestore.org/new-whirlpool-washer-dryer-combo-695/
All our ReStores sell windows, Tyler, but we don't have a list of donated inventory for our four locations. It's recommended that you stop in. We provide the tape measure!
We often have stainless stovetops, Laine. But we don't have a list of donated inventory for our 4 stores. We always recommend that you stop in at the ReStore closest to you to see what's available. Thanks for supporting Habitat for Humanity through the ReStore! pdxrestore.org
This sounds very interesting, Myra. We may be able to accept it. We accept donations Wednesday through Monday, 10-6. Thank you!
The ReStore does not have a delivery service, however there are local companies that will pick up from ReStore and deliver to your home. pdxrestore.org
Yes, we do. Paint should latex paint should be in its original container with original label attached. Containers 5 gallons or smaller. Thanks for checking, Joanne, and I'm sorry for the slow response. pdxrestore.org
No, large donations are split between the 4 stores. But, I go to several stores and each one has so many different things , it takes me hours to sort through all the stuff.

Call first to see if insulation is something they take. Not sure about pickup service
Their paint is already very inexpensive, you won't need a discount.
Sure we do, Christy! It should be dry, of course, and clean. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donations from 10am to 6pm 7 days a week (except for Monday, Sept. 3 - we're closed for the Labor Day holiday).
I would call them.
Kim, we don't have an inventory on items at our four locations. So, yes, you will need to stop in and see what is in stock at any given time. I understand that we often have 2x4 drop ceiling tiles, though. Thanks for asking about the Habitat for Humanity ReStore!
No cans, bottles. You have to go to Milwaukie for that. Restore has surplused construction and home furnishings, tools, appliances and the like.
Jeff question submitted here to not go directly to the business. They are posted on this website for other volunteers to answer. If you need to know if they have a specific item please call them at the phone number in the listing, and I am sure they would be happy to look.
