I have nothing but good things to say about the ODA. Very helpful, knowledgeable, I learned so much from them. Couldn't ask for anything better, their team is awesome, and a pleasure to work with. Both Heidi and someone name Michael are great nothing but respect. ODA are very passionate about protecting the environment as well. They will not recommend or give you any advice of what type of active ingredients to use for whatever purpose you need it for. But they are willing to give you other important information about it and they also get backup from the NPIC too. Never be afraid to ask questions, it's always best to be safe than sorry when using such harmful chemicals that you really know nothing about. Just wanted to get this cleared up for everyone to know since many think just because they are the ODA, they support using harmful chemicals. And don't care about the environment, and that's not the case at all. The ODA also has a saying best to avoid using any chemicals, if must best to use lesser harmful chemicals. That won't damage the environment and people's health too. Thanks for your courtesy and helpful advice!

The best approach with their neighbors is to educate them that butterfly bush can be invasive and it is a listed noxious weed in Oregon. We will not require them to remove plants, but encourage deadheading and preventing it from seeding. Or we would encourage them to remove plants and consider replacing with one of the new approved varieties.
