We had a tree branch go through one of our brand new (literally 3 months after installation) windows - Milgard had a team out to replace the glass at no cost to us in about a week. Incredible and the guys were very friendly and efficient.

I've had a French door from Milgard since 2006. I came home from vacation and opened the door to check on my garden and when I returned I couldn't get the lock to work. I filed for a service call on line. They called me to discuss the issue and schedule a service date. Today I received a call from the technician that he was in the area and could pop over to fix my door. This was three weeks before my scheduled date! He fixed the door perfectly. I wouldn't buy any other window or door. I'm team Milgard forever

I had to wait for over a month to have the technicians come out to replace three of my windows. 1. When they came, they didn't know which ones needed replacing. 2. For the French door - they didn't have the glue gun so they couldn't replace. 3. The one for the upstairs room - They didn't have the window. My husband told them to come back when they have everything. I made a call to Milgard and Amber told me that I should have had them at least put the one in and then we could have rescheduled the others - WHICH by the way will not be done until October 4th. I told her had someone let me know that they were not going to have the equipment they needed or the windows, I would have made a decision at that time rather than have them come out. Communication with you customers is the key Milgard - Fife!

Awful customer service, good luck... The windows are not great quality, and they don't stand behind their product. Every one of our windows open and closes very poorly - takes both hands, both legs and your back to close the window. The vinyl composition seems cheap as well. My recommendation is to keep looking, there are MANY better options out there - go try Pella instead.

We need to get replacement wheels for a Milgard aluminum patio door purchased in 1984. Where do we get replacement wheels? The Milgard website does not seem to have a replacement parts catalog.

The website does not sell parts. You can request assistance from the service team to find out if they are available for purchase: https://www.milgard.com/form/service-request

I have three Milgard window that, after 20 years, have had been breached with air between the panes. Is this easily repairable or is it more typical to replace?

I had 2 milgard windows with the same problem. Approx 12 years old. Milgard repaired them under my lifetime warranty. You need to be the original homeowner. Easily repaired by replacing the glass if the structure underneath is solid.

I have a picture window that was put into my new home in 2005-6 that has very visible scratches on the inside (thermopane low-E). I was into Riverside glass 6/25/18 for replacement of a broken window and was told that Milgard would cover this?

Yes no guard has a 100% guarantee. I have worked with them and they have all been very nice. They are not in the midwest as much as they used to be so it can take a little time to get to your home
