Very cool system they have. We took the ferry and had a nice afternoon on the island. Enjoyed the view on the ferry ride back.

Quick 20 minute ride to Anderson Island. I recommend getting tickets online or you have to walk down to the office at the dock. Not a bad walk unless you arrive and have to hustle down before they start loading.

This is a nice short ride. I did see a sign encouraging people to stay in their vehicles which is kind of a bummer because people who don't go on the ferry often love to get out and enjoy the breezy air. We did get out and look around outside.

The ride is great and the view is excellent also really enjoyed the island. I would rate it higher but i had to wait for 2 hours to be able to board. My being a novice was definitely a setback. So do your research.it is better than the fashion ferry they told me there I couldn’t board because I didn’t have enough clearance between the muffler of my truck and the ground I still hav not made sense of that I was to tired to try and argue it

Peak rates right now are $23.85 for vehicle and driver, $5.50 for passengers, and $2.70 for youth. Seniors are cheaper. You can use the Pierce County Ferry Ticket app.
