It was a fun ride but be careful if you're driving a lowered car. My Miata scraped hard getting into the ferry on the Oregon side. Getting off was easy and I had no issues.

Very short ride! Doesn’t take you to Astoria, OR as I was told, but saves you time if your driving from Cathlamet. If your driving from Kelso or Longview it unfortunately is not worth you time.

Puget Island which is why it's called the Puget Island ferry. There is a bridge on the other side to the mainland that goes through downtown Cathlamet.
yes, you can take a car and trailer. car is $6, trailer cgarge by length
The ferry leaves Puget Island to go to Westport on the hour, and it leaves Westport coming back to Puget Island at 15 after the hour.

Maddy for a one time trip across is cash only, but it's so worth it. So beautiful of a ride. My 2 grandkids totally enjoyed it
$6 for the truck and is probably somewhere between $6 & $10 for the rest.
