My husband and I like that he is also just really easygoing and fun to be around (which is important because you will likely spend lots of time walking around homes with your buyer’s agent!). My experience working with Matt was fantastic from start to finish. As a first time home buyer, it was a new and overwhelming process that Matt patiently and responsively led me through each step of the way. He was always reaching out to ensure I understood documents that needed to be signed, and even walk me through them. He is responsive, available and knowledgeable about the home touring process, and I really appreciated his feedback on the homes I was looking at. Even after the offer was made, Matt continued to help facilitating conversations with the lender, builder and selling agent. Hello Jody - becoming a real estate agent can be a great career if you are a "people person" Many states have different requirements in order to become a real estate agents. You can def start by researching your state's requirements to be licensed. Best of luck.
There are many details that go into a smooth and efficient closing such as lending, contingency’s and most important a well executed game plan.
You’ll need a realtor who knows appreciation and rental rates. This will set you up for success.
