We were using a different company for 5 years and always had ants in between sprays. We were told it’s just because the ants are so bad in this area. We decided to try another place to see if there was a difference, so we called Sentinel. They have been coming for 5 months and we have NOT seen 1 ant since their first visit! So very grateful! Great question! In some cases ongoing service is absolutely necessary and in some cases it is not. There are certainly pest issues that can be solved with one treatment, however, many infestations will require regular attention. Your Sentinel inspector will determine what level of treatment is best and provide you with options. As always, our inspections are free and scheduled at your convenience.
Sentinel has been cleaning crawl spaces and attics for two decades! Rodents contaminating insulation and vapor barrier is a much bigger problem than most realize. The strong odor of urine and feces draws rodents in and lets others know that the area is safe and conducive to inhabit. The removal and install process should be done in conjuction with rodent exclusion and control.

There are a handful of reasons that you could be having issues now. Any new construction nearby? Have you done any landscaping recently? Both of these things can disrupt and displace ants from where they are living and force them to find new nesting areas. Insects are often opportunistic as well. It is possible that swarming ants have found there way onto your property and have now set up shop. The good news is that we offer free inspections and will happily help.
