I wish there were more stars to give. First time visitor and the staff was so nice and the cashier was very helpful. I got a vegetarian quiche and 16oz. London Fog. Both were really good. I unfortunately dropped my London fog in the sand, I hadn't even taken a sip. I went back in the the bakeryand told them what happened and that I was willing to pay. They made me a new London fog no charge. That is top tier customer service. Good food, good drinks, great staff.

This is a gem of a place in the Whidbey Island. Sweet little bakery located in the beautiful town of Coupeville. We had apple walnut and poppyseed tea cakes and they were delicious! If you are visited Whidbey, make sure you visit this bakery. We loved it!

A nice bakery with a fine selection of pastries, pies, breads, and sandwiches. We tried a few of the English muffin breakfast sandwiches and the salmon croissant sandwich and all were great.

We arrived close to 1pm on Saturday and all the other cafes were booked (the Front Street Grill had a 45min wait and Toby's Tavern didn't allow us in because we were with a baby). The Little Red Hen bakery was out of their special already (everything croissant with salmon) but the people there were kind enough to offer to warm up some savory pies with meat and potatoes that they kept in the fridge. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend their chocolate and raspberry pie. We were delighted to find a couple of tables in the bakery and it was perfect for our little party of 4 with a baby. No changing table for babies in the restroom but that was expected for a bakery, not a restaurant.
