As a small business owner, I try to support small businesses. Nielson Bros (Tom) stated that he could arrange for the carpet to be installed, no later than the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Tom indicated that he would be in touch within the next week, with a firm date and time for the installation. After a week had passed, I called Tom and asked about the scheduling of the installation. Tom told me that the carpet was in, but he had not had time to secure someone to install our carpeting. I told Tom that I was disappointed, however he told me that someone should be there to install the carpet the following Monday, December 27. However, the date was moved to the following day, December 23 at 9:00am. The day of the initial installation came, we waited and waited for the installer to arrive. We made several calls to Nielson Bros to find out what the problem was and each time Tom did not have a clue what time the installer was going to arrive, although he had told us 9:00am. Tom seemed very unorganized and made several excuses, as to why his installer was not on time. Finally at noon (3 hours after he was supposed to arrive), the installer showed up. However, the installer sat in his van 2 hours waiting for his assistant to arrive. This forced us into having to schedule someone to work our small business, as one of us needed to stay home, costing us almost $100 in labor. If the installer would have arrived as scheduled, we would not have incurred labor cost. Due to the Christmas holiday, the installer indicated that he would return on Monday, December 27 at 9:00am to complete the third bedroom and stairwell. Again, 9:00am came and went, we heard nothing from Nielson Bros or the carpet installer. In fact I called Nielson Bros and they were unable to get a hold of the installer. On Wednesday, December 29 we received a text message from the installer indicating that he would be able to install the last portion of the carpet at 9:00am on Thursday, December 30. Again, no call, no show by the installer and apparently Nielson Bros had taken the day off as we couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the Auburn location. Again, we have to schedule someone to work our small business, costing us almost $150 in labor. On Saturday, January 1 we received a text asking if he would be there on Monday, January 3at 9:00am. I told him that he needed to be there as close to 9:00am, as we were having family over for a late holiday dinner. The installer responded yes, I will be there. I know I sound like a broken record, but 9:00am came and no installer. Around 11:00am, I called Nielson Bros and asked to speak to Tom. The person on the other line stated that Tom was out doing a measurement and that he would call me back upon his return. I asked the man what the status on my carpet installer was and he was very rude, told me that he had no idea what I was talking about and needed to talk with Tom. Finally, I received a call about 11:15am, it that time the installer had still not arrived. I preceded to explain to Tom about our experience with his company and the very unprofessional carpet installer. Tom began to make excuses and told me that he did not have time to deal with this and hung up on me! To make matter worse, the installer showed up around 12:30pm and was not done with the installation until after 9:00pm.n conclusion, we took off collectively 24 hours of leave (3 days) from our 9 to 5 job and paid out almost $300 in labor costs for our small business operations, waiting for the installer to show up. All we wanted was our carpet installed, as agreed upon and be treated with respect. Instead, Nielson Bros chose not to deal with us. Instead I was hung up on and ultimately received a final bill in the mail. No apologies, no nothing! For that, it would be hard for us to recommend Nielson Bros, as they are totally unreliable and extremely unprofessional. In addition, they cost of time away from our jobs and money out of our pockets, which they had complete disregard for. Never again!

Purchased a high end carpet 10 years ago and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, a renter's pet ruined 1 room. We went back and purchased a similar product for that 1 room and they were able to install within 24 hours. These guys are fantastic!

I love when a plan comes together!! Houston was honest and very helpful at choosing our carpet. He wasn't pushy which was a nice change. He told us when to expect the installation. Alex arrived on time was super efficient. He did a wonderful job. We couldn't have asked for anything to be better. We will be back!!

Houston was fabulous!!! We were getting ready to put our house on the market but we needed to replace the carpet before we put it up for sale. Houston not only got us financed but also managed to get us a great looking carpet on budget. The install was right on schedule and the install crew were great and did a fabulous job. I would defiantly use Neilson's flooring again and I highly recommend working with Houston!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!

I think so. They have several locations in the Puget Sound.
