The Astoria Co-op is great. The have a nice selection of local and organic produce and meats. They also have an large selection of local wines and beer. They are now back to offering hot deli foods and as always have a great selection of take and bake. They are followng the state mask mandate for all patrons and staff.

We are ardent about our grocery stores and always seek out local co-ops and natural food stores. This is one of the best we've found. Living in the PNW we have many great choices but each time I visit Astoria, we find ourselves wishing we had this selection and style of a co-op near us in Seattle! Can't go wrong here.

The produce is glorious, best in town. Quality meats with good selections like scallops and game hens. Decent fancy cheese selections. Amazing wines. The bulk section is back. A touch pricey for pantry staples but it's worth it to skip the corporate stores.

Very nice for Co-op with lots of variety and plenty of vegan options. We didn't love some of the vegan deli choices, but there's lots of yummy things to try throughout the store. It's laid out very well and items are easy to find. Friendly staff. Clean and well-lit.

Yes it is, thanks for asking! The contestants were excited about all the unique ingredients at the co-op that are hard to find elsewhere.
I think the prices are reasonable. There is no membership fee, but you can buy a share of the business (IIRC US$200) and you get an owners discount on certain items.
I guess it could be possible
I wouldn't say this place is cheap. There are items that you can buy for prices comparable to larger chain grocery stores, but it's a local co-op, which means you are supporting local growers/producers and some items are a bit more expensive because of that.
We sell the Daily Astorian and have some free community publications like Hipfish as well as free wellness-related publications.
Oregon does not sell raw milk. 😕 If makes me very sad.
That must be the delicious Majestic Garlic!
I would suggest calling the store and speaking with a sales floor associate or a manger.
They are a fairly well stock store, I would like to say yes. If you give them a call in the morning they will advise you if they do, if not they will gladly tell you as to where you might find the mix your looking for ...
No.
