Loved it. Could have stayed there longer if it wasn't closing. Very cool 3D movies were worth the extra money. Take your time and try see as much as you can. We would definitely go again!

Having travelled the world I can say this is one of the best maritime museums I’ve seen. Great local content and great general marine content on navigation and meteorology. Very good display on locally related US Navy ship history in WWII and the naval war in the Pacific.

Had a 5 and 1 year old. They got pretty bored despite the fun things. This is because of the interesting displays that Mom and Dad were engaged in for too long. The museum was built around a real ship's control deck that The kids were able to play in! The other popular feature was the green screen to simulate a weather broadcast.

A place of historical history shared for all ages. Great space through out the museum. 3D movie clips for extra charge. Location is good right near the water where ships come into doc. I definitely recommend this place if passing through Astoria.

What a WONDERFUL Gesture! Suggest you contact them directly to inquire. If not,Orange Coast College in Southern California has a great seamanship college program and they too might appreciate. Sorry for the loss of your Husband.
A good 2 hours or more. Alot to see and read and alittle hands on with some of the exhibits. The tour was awesome, it's breathtaking and beautiful the day we went in August. Definitely worth your time. I wish I could share pics in this comment. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent museum with several interactive displays! Well worth the admission! $14/adult $12 /senior and $5/child 6-17. Free under 6, free active duty military!
Good morning - yes, we have two wheelchairs available for our visitors to use free of charge. Just ask at the Admissions Desk -
They had a few books on display but there wasn't any type of labeling on them that I noticed
Good morning - pets are not allowed in the Museum, unless the dog is a certified service animal. Thanks for asking.
Great place to visit along the coast. Sealions are not far to observe splashing in the water and barking up a storm.
I'm not sure if there is a coffee shop, but I know there is free coffee in the gift shop.
Hi Anne, Ages 5 and under are free, 6 - 17 are $5. Thanks for asking! CRMM
Definitely call the front desk.
