I didn’t stay here, so I can’t give an accurate rating, but I wanted to let any other people that might be looking at this spot to know that it is RV only - no tent camping at all

Very nice, not crowded, peaceful. Rocky drive, not too bad

Gordon Gulch is a quick drive from Boulder, near Nederland, CO and a place we like to disperse camp. Drive through Boulder Canyon is always lovely. Sites in the official ‘area’ are moderately sized and the higher numbered sites are more private. The road gets rougher leading back to the furthest sites and were pretty rutty/washed out the last time we were there (mid-late June 2022). Bear country - secure your smellies/food and cook away from where you sleep. Secure your dogs, moose country too. Keep an eye on local fire bans. Pack out what you pack in and leave no trace (or better than you found it - lately, there is a lot of trash at these sites :( don’t be that human!)

I had a good time here in April for some isolated camping. There is plenty of space and decently flat ground. I didn't like the amount of trash everywhere in the woods. When i saw someone leave they left all of their trash in the fire bit. I can see thia please being a good time. I spent half the day picking up trash and a few weeks of that might clean that place up a bit. It is nice otherwise

Usually unless snow prevents you from driving in..
Very little snow but it is extremely icy on the back road 226 so If u have a car u will get stuck. I need 4 wheel drive and or chains on ur tires
It doesn't really close ever, just depends on if your vehicle can get you to a dispersed site in winter offroad conditions.
It's all free. But the numbered spots are the only places to camp in that area. They call it the " wet lands" If you go past camp #15 you can camp ANYWHERE you want. Told to me by the local police dept. We camped out there for a week.
40-50s at night 60-70s day
Nope. We saw plenty of regular sedans but a higher riding SUV is a lot more comfortable. I would recommend an alternate choice. Kinda loud and definitely NOT the typical dispersed camping in a national forest. Search it on Google and scroll down the page a bit and read some of the articles. We unknowingly set up next to what appeared to be a deserted squatter site. Pretty interesting detritus...
