I recently stayed at the DoubleTree at the CLT airport. I had had a long travel day and was looking forward to simply being done for the day. When I arrived there was one other older woman checking in. It was obvious that she was not a seasoned traveler. Jasmine, the front desk clerk, expertly handled every question with aplomb and patience. It was refreshing to watch someone who was so good at their job at work. I spend an average of 200 nights per year in a hotel (over the past 35 years). Checking in can be agonizing. When it was my turn to check in Jasmine was as efficient and professional as possible. The whole process took under 2 minutes from the initial "hello" to me walking away with my room key. And a delicious cookie. The check in for me often dictates the quality of my stay. Unless my room would have been filled with rats and cockroaches, this was going to be a good one. My room was clean, comfortable, and rather quiet. The TV was great, it was excellent having an actual bathtub, and the internet was flawless. I can't say enough great things about how good Jasmine is at her job. I hope that her bosses take great care of her. She deserves it.

I wanted to give a review to 2 Hilton Double Tree employees that absolutely blow my mind due to their customer service. I travel frequently, and I am actually an Ambassador traveler with the Marriott but my work puts me at the Double Tree once a month. Rachel and Michelle are two of the most outstanding women I have ever met in the hotel industry. They both go out of their way to make my stay (as with everyone else they come in contact with) the best and most relaxing stay even with the demands of the job. I never have a "want" for anything when they are there because it will be handled ASAP. Thank you for making my stay every month a pleasure with your graciousness and customer service expertise.

The hotel was clean, welcoming, and comfortable! The staff was polite and engaging. The restaurant was convenient and had excellent staff as well. Perfect location for us to catch a early morning flight the next day!

This day was excellent, Mr. David one of the shuttle drivers and Matthew at the front desk really made this experience a great one. They were very welcoming and made me feel like I was more than just a guest. Check in was a breeze. The hotel rooms themselves are a little outdated but they were clean and sanitized. Breakfast was good and the waitress was wonderful. I was offered cookies which of course I took, but it was a little disappointing that they take down the coffee station after 10 AM. This staff was great and helpful. They offer solutions when I did encounter any issues or felt that I was without something.
