Slow, understaffed, disorganized..... They should use the Oregon City site as a model, OC has "speed pass" for commercial accounts, drive thru sheds, and lightning fast turn times.

People are friendly at the transfer station, but management needs to figure out how to expedite the long line of vehicles sitting there waiting their turn. The bottleneck seems to be the unfortunate person who collects the fees. They have to walk back and forth for every vehicle to their little building to run your credit card, then walk back out to your vehicle with the receipt which takes a long time. It wouldn't be that difficult to implement a wireless card reader and receipt printer or place a new toughshed where they can take your card through the window. This is a poorly thought out business process that is very frustrating for customers. Wait times in the afternoon can easily reach an hour. Last time I was turned away just after 4:00 PM even though operating hours are until 5. The line was out onto the street. Again.

II would appreciate a chipping service for our woody stuff. Compost it so we don't have to pay the fee.

Wonderful people. Found my wallet and returned it to me! Was on the roof of my car and blew off on Villa road. Thanks for finding it Ben and for taking the time to return it :)

How much is it to dispose of an old washing machine
No. Metro South in Oregon City does
As of 6/1/19 the minimum charge for common household waste is $16.80.
Also, check for Lowe's in your area (they take 4 foot bulb, limit 4 per day) for free. Home Depot doesn't though. Batteries Plus takes 4 foots free AND LONGER for $1.99 each.
Yes
I believe they would as yard debris. On yard debris week of course
Paint if still labeled (so they can tell what's inside) a non-leaking container (and still liquid, if dried up can be tossed in trash) can be taken to most local paint stores. There is usually a daily limit on how much can be taken in (our sherwin williams here in Hillsboro takes up to 15 gallons a day). It's part of the brick and mortars that if they sell certain items they have to accept and recycle... (i.e. goodwill takes TV and computer working or not, paint stores... home depot for lightbulbs and batteries... etc.)
What time to open
Nope Monday through Saturday. Closes at 5:00 on Saturday.
Maybe, but if it's just one they might not consider it construction debris. Usually it's just when contractors bring stuff. But the difference in price isn't huge
$8.00 for the first. $3.50 for each after
Depends on material
First drooped should be dropped. Second Metro would be happy to charge you to drop off there. $19.40 a yard.
In the recycling section
Yes.
No
Yup
They charge $28 per cubic yard.
8am to 5pm
Yes
Yes. You can pay by the load to drop off garbage. My wife and I are renovating our home and regularly drop of construction debris and garbage there. They do have some limitations (e.g. they don't accept asbestos); you can check online to see their rates and what all they accept.
19.80 a yard. Same as trash.
Yeah as long does not have treated wood...
Never open on Sunday
Yes they do.
Yes they do
Yes it can be!!!
16.00 a yard for household garbage and 24.50 a yard for construction debris.

Marc said yes
Yes, charged as heavy debris
Refrigerators and A/Cs both have CFC coolants that require an extra fee to accept for recycling. Appliances without CFCs are usually free as a metal recycling function.
12.30 per yard
Yes. I've seen many there.
Put them in the metal recycling bin at the WM recycling lot next door.
Hello hello I'm personally work for Waste Management Newberg I work for a company that does the clean up there however I have not seen anything of that size ever go through I think a travel trailer you would most likely have to take it to a bigger scrap yard like the Schnitzer or Cherry City Recyclers maybe and Salem would most likely be at one of the places that would take those in
Food waste is never accepted at the landfills.
Best place to actually recycle Styrofoam is at Agilyx in Tigard (they literally melt and recycle it). They have a 24-hour drop box in parking lot and doesn't cost anything. While you CAN put it in landfill, it's always best to really recycle where possible. Website here: https://www.agilyx.com/
Everyday is different could be none or a long line
Old TVs and computers too can also be dropped off (working or not) at the Goodwill stores, too!
You'll have to call the office to get that answer.
Yes debit and credit cards are accepted.
