A great hike. Very busy on the trail. You have people who are hiking to the waterfall and others who are hiking or backpacking to other areas. Such a pretty area and the waterfall is beautiful. This was one of our must do hikes and I'm so glad we got to see it.

Well worth the short hike in from the falls trailhead or take the longer loop (3 miles each way) from Lovers Lane trailhead at the far end of the Sol Duc Lodge parking lot. Bridge gets pretty wet and slippery but additional viewpoints past it along the side of the falls. Family friendly with picnic benches and parking at the trailhead.

Probably my favorite hike in Washington, this is a must see! Make sure to bring a rain jacket when you go and water and snacks! I would also recommend hiking books instead of sneakers because it can be muddy in some areas. The waterfall was beautiful at the end, when you get closer to the falls you'll need a rain jacket to get close bc of the mist.

If you love forests and waterfalls this is a must visit in Washington. The hike isn't too long and it's relatively easy. As a bonus on the way to the falls you might be able to see salmon swimming up stream doing their famous migration, but that depends on what time of year you visit. The only thing I can suggest is come on a weekday so it's less busy.
