Rundown It would be a nice place with a little attention. The grounds were in serious need of weeding. The buildings need upkeep and painting . My room smelled musty. The faucet in my bathroom was missing a handle. I had to shut off the AC at night since it was making so many noises. The breakfast took an hour to get to me. The quality of the food at breakfast was less than cafeteria quality.

Lovely old place, now a B&B. Main building is gorgeous, with handsome woodwork. In the carriage house, our room was spacious and comfortable. Everything very clean. Had a very tasty breakfast in lovely smaller dining room. Only drawbacks we found were the heating was a bit noisy, and I would have liked grab bars in the huge tub in the carriage house room.

This place was amazing. Great food, great accommodations. My significant other booked this BNB as a surprise for my birthday. The highlight was the front desk employee. She has found her true calling in life.

It begins when you drive up to the beautiful country Inn circa 1895, a newer Copper Beech tree has replaced the original which died after a 300 plus year long life. We've stayed over for special occasions, Valentines dinners and anniversaries, it's always top notch food, service, and of course atmosphere. The scallops, steaks, risottos when they have them, and French onion soup is to die for. We love this place and you will too!
