Tom and Karleen made every effort to make us feel welcome, from their clean and inviting home to a superb breakfast every morning. It was a pleasure spending part of our trip with them. Location is a great midpoint between Duluth and the Apostle Islands, providing plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and activities.

Tom and Karleen were wonderful hosts that made us feel well taken care of. Karleen’s gardens are absolutely beautiful, Tom’s dishes are fantastic, and the house is immaculate. I don’t know what carpet they have in the Red Room but it was so plush it felt like you could sink into it waist deep. There is an AC in the Red Room for sure if you’re here in the height of summer. They are also knowledgeable about county happenings and have many brochures. There is a well-behaved dog that does not beg for food or bother you in any way. Would stay here again!

This was our first experience at a B&B, Tom and Karleen made it so special! The food is top of the line. They really know how to make some great food. Our room was very spacious, put together very nicely. Karleen's art work is all over, it's very beautiful. I will recommend this place to anyone that is going to be in a the Port Wing area.
