Beautiful little spot on the way to the Animal Refuge. We walked around the river bank, skipping rocks and watching the sunset. Would make for a great picnic location

Yes if an adult is within arms reach and you find a shallow runoff. But, keep in mind the water is glacier water and is freezing.
