The festival had more booths than I expected but not very many choices for food. There's a good deal of free parking available and it's just a short walk to the festival. The people there were all very nice. A lot of local crafts there. It seems like there's only a small section of booths that sold lavender related items though. But you'll find a small selection of honey, fresh cut lavender, sprays, handmade goods, etc. It was about 1 hour drive from the ferry though. There are many many lavender farms you can visit in the area during the lavender festival so you can go and check out their gift shops and tours. Highly recommend going but it's an all day activity if you have to commute there by ferry then drive.

Not much "lavendar" to see here, but it was nice to walk around and see what each person had to sell. The park hosted live music with different types of food vendors. So come by, bring the dogs, bring the kids and have a good day at the park!

Best to go to their website and keep an eye out for when they have their brochure available to download. Your question is a bit premature as it seems vendors, musicians and entertainers are still in the planning process. As of today the festival is 111 days away. Maybe check for brochure in 20 days (3 months away from the festival). Do book sleeping accommodations ASAP if you will need them as they book up very early.
Lavender Festival for 2017 has passed but the farms that participated may still be open for public visits. You will have to contact the farms individually but most have websites with their posted operation hours.
