A taste of Southern BBQ up North. When I was invited to this cozy restaurant just minutes from Hartford Airport 🛫 I was quite surprised by the variety of food and large portions. The smoked meat flavors were well-seasoned and the side dishes made it difficult to choose only two. Great barbecue joint.

Good smokehouse food! I got the ribs and pulled pork! Ribs were delicious and smoked to perfection! Definitely worth the up charge to me. Also enjoyed a cute garden salad. Corn bread was okay. Soda fountain was working but store had no cups available. Had to buy bottles of soda for 3.50$ each. Overall reasonable prices for the quality of food!

Hits the spot every single time! Absolutely loveeeee this place! Everything has a nice smoke flavor to it. You stand in line and order while they make everything in front of you. Pretty cool and the entire place smells amazing!

I think in years past it was much better than it was this past evening. Tried the moink balls which are meatballs wrapped in bacon. They didn't wow me but they were okay. We also tried Bear balls which are combination of pulled pork macaroni and cheese deep-fried in a corn muffin batter topped with some cheese sauce from the macaroni and cheese and bacon bits. That was interesting to say the least. I got the one meat and two sides platter which consisted of pulled pork macaroni and cheese and mashed sweet potatoes. The pulled pork was a little on the mushy side. The mashed sweet potatoes had a bit too much of all spice in them and the macaroni and cheese was so so.
