One of the best ramen spots in the US that my wife and I have tried so far. The tomato soup-based ramen tastes like tomato basil. It's so good! We went there at 11am so that we can avoid the queue.

This is a top notch Ramen spot in Fremont. The broth was so flavorful, the spice was there, and the ingredients tasted very fresh. You'll want to put your name on the yelp waitlist at least 45 minutes to an hour ahead of time if you go during busy times like dinner or on the weekends. Service was so fast and attentive. Love it

Vegan ramen A++++ god tier. Just unbeatable. Extra spicy was exceptional. Would recommend “Spicy” next time. We got the classic. Thin noodles ftw.

They got a great selection of Vegan Ramen. Packed with flavors and got a lot of customization options. Can get super spicy if you like it that way. We loved the service and the food!

Yes, they are. Indoors and 2 tables outdoors last time I was there.
I would hope so; MSG is delicious. And as Elias mentioned, it's naturally occurring in a lot of Japanese cuisine.
They are extremely busy always with 40 minute waits usually. I'm not surprised they didn't answer the phone. They do not make reservations just an fyi. (Not sure if they're open though)
According to Ramen Danbo's Facebook page, they're open regular hours (11:00am to 11:00pm) on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
