Great quiet central location. Very clean modern hotel with friendly attentive professional staff. Rooms were a bit pricey so we had to stay elsewhere the following week (in town for work). By far the nicest hotel in St Mary's!

My wife and I just had our wedding yesterday and the girls rented a room to get ready in, etc. Things got a little chaotic and behind schedule, like usual for a wedding preperation, and instead of being decent human beings and letting them stay an extra hour, or use a conference room or anything, they kicked them right out. So they had to call and find another place to get ready (shoutout to holiday inn, and for free!) and then call the photographer, makeup person, hair stylist, etc to relocate. Sorry for the inconvenience cobblestone in st.marys, pennsylvania, the population capital of the world. We know how youre booked solid every night and cant afford to give someone an extra hour. You should be honored someone picked your hotel to get ready for a wedding at. Instead, you gave them the boot.

We have family that resides in Wilcox. So we visit often and usually stay at the Best Western. This time, because the BW was full, we were able to get a room at the Cobblestone. We will NEVER stay at the BW again. The GM at the Cobblestone, Dean couldn’t have been more accommodating! Check in was a breeze! The room was spacious and spotless. The hot breakfast (and host) was amazing. Our stay almost felt like home. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Long story short, this is the least accommodating hotel I've ever been to. They told our friends months ago that everyone coming into town for their wedding would be able to check in early (before the wedding starts...) and get a special room rate. The morning of the wedding arrives, we call to find out what time we can check in & the only thing the receptionist seems to be able to say is "the rooms wont be ready until 3:00" over and over again... I calmly explained that this doesn't make very much sense, considering the wedding begins at 2:00, asking if there is any possible way that we can just check in & drop off our things? Her response, another "the rooms wont be ready until 3:00." I left my number for a manager to call me back since I was told there was no one else available, never heard back. So we made it work,9 drove 3 hours in our wedding attire & ran back to the hotel to check in before the reception. Just what we wanted to be doing, right?! Only to find out when we get there that WE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE PARKING LOT. But "no rooms will be ready until 3:00"... And the cherry on top, our "special rate room" went from $110 originally to $160 to somehow a grand total of $199?? for one night in a room I couldn't even get into to get ready. Overall a nice day & beautiful wedding, but not something I would ever want to deal with again...
