Currently staying at a place that I'm fixing up for someone. The electric got caught because it was still in the previous tenant's name. I called them up they were extremely helpful. Give me all the information I needed to know. They have regular electric billing or the option to pay as you go. Which was very useful for me to know seeing as I won't be here long. The fact that they could immediately restore the electric given the fact that I'm a new account was wonderful news for. The woman I spoke with, Amy, was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Even was able to tell me what the average monthly service for the unit was. Thank you for all of your incredible information and help.

There are new houses being built down the street, and the electric company goes through my yard to reach the transformer. Two days in a row, they left lunch trash and water bottles. I finally called and politely asked them to at least use my yard trash can. I guess whomever answered the complaint told the man-child to clean up after himself, so he responded by immediately driving to my house and shutting off my electricity. I called them and was gaslit about the retaliation. It happened again, same guy. I am now scared to call them for anything and won’t allow them on my property without cameras and another trusted adult. This is not ok and this company should be ashamed.

I called today and just like every other time I call, the people there are so friendly and helpful. Mrs Mary Elizabeth helped me today and she was great! I'm new the the area and this is one reason why I love it here, the people! Thanks!

Michael, crews are heading out this morning in force to work on secondary lines, taps and services that have not yet gotten power.
Once Duke Progress Energy gets is power system repaired down east and energizes our substation there, we should be good to go. Check the Duke Progress map at:https://www.duke-energy.com/outages/current-outages
They are working I the area. They work main lines first then move down to individual services. I don't have an exact time, however.
Jackie, I do not know, but you may be able to get help from the Carteret County Emergency Operations Center at (252) 728-8471.
