Beautiful and quite. You will need a discover pase to park which is 35$. Buy it before you go because you likely wont have cell service there.

Beautiful wooded park. Took a nice little hike from the parking lot and trail head. Dog access is limited because of the wildlife protections. Serene place to wander for a bit.

Wow! Take your mosquito repellent! If not, you may get eaten alive. Cool views but only got a few hundred yards in before turning back due to so many starving mosquitos. This area has a trail that runs along the east (sound) and west (ocean) side of the spit. Would love to give this place another try when I bring bug repellent and repellent clothing.

Remote, but worth it if you want to be outside for the day. The easy 1.2 mi hike through the sparse dune forest to the bay is different than most of the terrain in the area, and there are always birds to watch along the bay. Parking lot to tbe beach can be denser and sometimes wet in the rainier season. The 3 mi denser dune forest loop is pretty flat and really interesting - lota of slugs and a few harmless snakes so watch you step! I love how varied and quiet and full of wildlife the place is, I've been enjoying year-round.

Yes. And even had toilet paper when we were there a couple weeks ago!
Yes...be cautious, lots of bears and people are terrible about leashes. Clean up after your dog, others are also very disrespectful about clean up.
I'm not sure why someone said yes, but e-bikes are not allowed on the trails inside of Leadbetter State Park.
