This is “Luxury in Lafayette” We found this inn spur of the moment. Traveling in Indiana, stopped in Lafayette wanting to stay but tired of “hotel hustle” life. Found the Whittaker and was exactly what we were looking for! Quiet, Relaxing, modern like home experience! The rooms are beautiful and themed with modern amenities with warm unique custom touches of art, linens and detail. Rooms are large with tall ceilings on 2nd floor, air conditioned and fans are very nice for the summer and work well! The night time kitchen was perfect too and love that it has both 1st and 2nd floor locations! The common areas has plenty to do from games, pool tables, peaceful patio with the quiet nature surrounding the properties. Small walking path was great to stroll through after a custom ordered breakfast made by Chef Andrew that had all fresh ingredients with homemade jams! Everything from the coffee, omelettes down to the mixed berries was perfect. Elizabeth was attentive and just enough exposure. We never felt that she was over the top in our space, which is always a worry when you stay at a smaller scale inn. Easy check in and easy check out. She made us feel like it was our home away from home. We are thrilled to share with our family and friends and hope to stay again soon!!

I would have given 10 stars if there were that many available. The Whittaker Inn is a hidden gem in West Lafayette, IN. The location is perfect. It is far enough out of town and off the beaten path to be peaceful, yet within 10-15 minutes of the Purdue campus. The Inn is family owned, offering excellent personalized service. I cannot begin to convey how pleased we were with the cleanliness. On our arrival, we were greeted and given a tour of the Inn by Elizabeth, owner. The rooms are designed using furnishings of different countries. We stayed in the India room. It offered a couch, chair, and king size bed. The large walk in shower featured a digitally controlled spa shower with overhead rain shower, handheld shower unit, and two body jets. It was amazing. The Whittaker Inn offers a complimentary breakfast cooked to order. They also serve dinner by reservation. Chef Andrew, owner, is exceptional at his craft. The food was delicious and very pleasing to the eye! When you stay at the Inn, plan to eat dinner there. Make sure to order the crab cakes! They are the best I have ever eaten! I have nothing negative to say about our stay. We will be making reservations to stay here on future visits to Purdue.

We found the Whittaker Inn traveling home from my daughter's wedding. The Inn is absolutely comfy, cozy, and more. It is QUIET for weary travelers and dinner can be ordered in advance in the dining room or eaten in your room with some advance notice. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room. Our room was comfortable, big, and again quiet. Ambience of the Inn is a combination of old world farm house style with a punch of modern. Food was prepared by a culinary chef and was superb. Elizabeth was friendly and inviting. The night snack area was well stocked. Open areas to sitting lounge down stairs with couches and chairs, a fitness room, and a game room with pool table are also for your enjoyment. We will be back for sure on future travels to see my daughter. Thanks for the hospitality. We appreciate you! Special note, is that the Inn is tucked in farm country so NO FREEWAY NOISE and the grounds provide for a nice evening walk.

This was a last minute booking. We were traveling from Wisconsin to Georgia and the weather got really bad in Indiana and we were able to call and book this place quick. The owner was so kind and stayed up late for us since the roads were so bad and it took us a while to get there. They were very kind and accommodating. Also the breakfast was incredible!
