Absolutely incredible food. We were told that the service would be slow when we walked in which we all really appreciated! We started off with the lentil soup which was delicious and light. Then we moved onto the Baba ghanouj which had a great smoke flavor from the roasted eggplant. It was not too lemony and very well balanced. Next I had the special Lady In Red made with beyond beef which was flavorful and aromatic. Lastly we had the warm baklava which was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The falafel my sister ordered had a great crunch and the grape leaves she got were the very best I’ve ever had. Honestly blown away the food here, it far exceeded my expectations. Especially with the amount of vegan/vegetarian options which my vegan sister very much appreciated.

I go here once in a while. The service is still superb. You will never find any restaurant with a nice, respectful owner like this. However, recently i have noticed that portion has decreased significantly and price is now too high :(

Amazing place with amazing food. The service is great, I went one time 5 months ago and went again tonight (time in between because I live far away). They remembered me and treated us very well. I would definitely recommend!

This is Mediterranean food. Authentic tasty but not spicy unless you ask it to be spicy. I ordered combo kabab and lentils soup. The soup was hearty and the kababs were splendid. I enjoyed the chicken the most and Kosta but all are great. Plenty of meat and I added a pita bread with only 75 cents. For a drink I got a Guavs juice, first time in my life trying it. Somehow similar to mango and very joyful tropical taste. Try it with baghlava as I had a chance to try a baghlava. It is good to have a small baghlava after your lunch. Baghlava is sweeter than common desserts so one or two is not filling your stomach. Update: today I tested Shawerma and Jerusalem salad. If you have 5ested Shirazi salad it is rhe same but has a great sauce vert hearty and fresh. The chicken shawerma had an awesome taste because of its sauce. It is not common shawerma. It is something so flavorish but not over spiced. It looks like a painting with too many colors but not dark colors light beautiful colors. The taste is just what it should be. UPDATE 2: It is Mediterranean or if I want to be accurate Shamat food. Not normal Arabic or Mediterranean but good for anyone familiar with those tastes. It is something I suggest to try to anyone in Lafayette.
