I had an issue with my Honda lawnmower starting & running due to owner error. So I dropped in to inquire about service. Darin, one of the owners, took the time (on the spot) to do a couple simple repairs that got my mower operating again. This is outstanding service beyond expectation. There is a closer Honda dealership closer to my home. Agrishop Auburn has earned my future business.

My Husqvarna trimmer would work for 15 minutes and then die. After cooling off it would run another 15 minutes and die and so on. I took it to JDK small engine repair in Federal Way and was told by them that it sounded like the coil was bad. They said they could not order it as they were not a dealer and to try this ACE store small engine repair department. I explained to Scott that I thought it was the coil and they said they would get back to me with an estimate and that it would be a non refundable $60 to look at it. When I got the estimate for $245, it did not include the coil and they wanted to replace the carburetor, spark plug, fuel filter and fuel pump. I talked to Scott and he said I could bring in the OEM coil ($100 at Amazon) and they would just charge labor for installing it. This would add another $200 and now we are at the cost of buying a brand new one. I bought the coil and all the other parts online and took them into the shop and Steve said they could not accept the carburetor parts since they were not OEM and were made in China. I am guessing all the OEM parts are made in China as well. Darren the supervisor said the chinese parts never worked and if they installed them that they could not guarantee the trimmer would work. I left with my trimmer and took the $60 dollar loss and went back to JDK. They checked the coil and said it was bad. Then they installed all the parts for $102 and it runs beautifully now. I will not go back to this ACE store for any small engine repairs in the future. To recap, ACE wanted around $445 and JDK fixed it for $102. ACE never checked the coil and the chinese parts worked just fine.

Overbearing customer service! We would have purchased a lot more if we were allowed to just browse. We did not ask for help and did not need an employee chatting with us and babysitting us around this tiny little store. This happens everytime we go here. Have fun
