Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mooresville - Lake Norman, an IHG Hotel

2nd year in a row we've stayed at this location. We usually stay at one closer to the Carowinds but stayed here to be closer to lake Norman. We do prefer the other one but this one is ok. The parking lot is too small and the Hotel itself is almost hidden. Besides that, love the outdoor pool and the suites are great!

This hotel was good. Not bad, not great-just good. It’s old and had a semi-facelift. Like you could tell it has been remodeled quickly. There were still remnants of an older version. The room was fine though-we just needed a place to stay for the night and it worked. The location was fine and I appreciated Jessica, our housekeeper, writing a little note to enjoy our stay. I’ve stayed in better Holida Inns, but I really can’t say this was terrible. The air conditioning was loud too, but it worked. The elevator is the SLOWEST elevator though-it took forever! Oh and their chocolate chip cookies upon check in were really good!! I’d recommend it if you need a clean, comfortable place.

We've stayed here before. The location is almost halfway between St. Augustine and Dayton Ohio - so location makes a perfect break, especially if traveling with a dog. Definitely pet friendly. Will stay here again when doing this trip.

Very clean room and professional staff. We chose this location because of the breakfast which was unfortunately cold. Not sure if room temp meat should be served. The sausage and other hot foods should be kept at a hotter temp. If you are staying and expecting a hot breakfast you will do better off either choosing a different hotel or eating at one of the nearby restaurants.
