Heaven on a biscuit. Stoped in for breakfast. Got a country ham egg and cheese. A bacon egg and cheese and a breakfast cookie. All delicious. The coffee was good as well.

The coffee is exactly what I needed this morning, but the grits and biscuit are perfection. Fast service and a hip cool interior- make sure to look up to see their most interesting and unique ceiling fans!!

Stopped in here on my way north back in August. Scratch has good biscuits and courteous staff. I got a jezebel biscuit and subbed the ham for fried chicken and they gladly let me sub—I think there was a small up charge. I also got the apple biscuit. Both biscuits were great and I would definitely stop by here again. I’ve heard they’ve got a good hot sauce and I’d like to try their po’ boys and other menu items.

This place is awesome! Seems to be a great place for locals, as numerous customers seemed to know each other. I had a very great breakfast: a fried chicken biscuit, an egg and cheese biscuit, made into a combo with the best grits I’ve ever had and iced tea. Make sure to try the local hot sauce. And ask for butter for the grits, it’ll put them over the top. Might stop here again tomorrow as I head out of town.
