Do not shop here on the 1st of the month to the 10th of the month. As they raise the prices on those days. I thought I was imagining, but it was 2 months in a row. I'll check this 1st coming up too. So I go in there to buy my meat. I bought a 6 pack of low quality steak, cost 24 dollars, this was the first of the month. Then I go in on the 20th, that same steak, 6 pieces literally sitting at 12 dollars. Two months in a row I noticed this. I'll check again this month, then I'll make a corporate complaint once a month. I will take pictures to prove this as well, so better watch the owner reply as I will be posting g proof.

My fiance and I came here for groceries. And it must have been senior employee day or something because holy hell... It took us 15 minutes at the deli to get 1LB of cheese and HALF LB of ham and there was no one in line.. We were served immediately. But, the old gal working in the deli was having a VERY hard time. Literally 15mins for 2 small things. We needed another item but didn't want to wait another 10 minutes so just left. Checkout was same. Patty the old lady took forever. Nice but my god. The younger cashier at the other aisle had 5 people checked out in the time it took her to check just us and 6 bags of groceries out. 😑 She did a horrible job bagging our groceries. Every bag was ripped. One was leaking, I don't even know how she managed that.. All were filled to the brim and difficult to pick up. She didn't double bag or anything. She was nice but move her to the back bakery or something.. She has no business at checkout since speed and quality is a huge issue. This is why I do drive up and go 80% of the time. My God. Don't go on a weekend morning.. Avoid the old ladies.

This store is great in every way, except for it's front end manager Jeff. He is the most rude person I have ever encountered in a grocery store. He is truly a stain on the Safeway company. He has HORRIBLE customer service & should never be in a job that puts him in the path of people. I am so sorry for the folks that have to work for him. Every one else is wonderful. I would rather walk out of the store empty handed than ever have to deal with him again.
