Love Safeway just wish they were more equally priced with the other stores in our area I go there for my meet to my produce so I do shop safely because there's a dollar tree store next to it

I'm giving this review 5 stars because of the actions by management at the Bullhead City store. My family and I had gone shopping this morning and had a fairly large haul and when we went to the checkstand the checker who I will keep unnamed for her protection but as soon as she saw my loaded basket her demeanor changed, her face turned to a scowl and she started complaining to the girl who was helping bag the customer before me and was then leaving the checker to bag my large order alone. Her complaining was loud enough for me to hear every word and become completely uncomfortable so instead of just leaving my order there and walking out and taking my business elsewhere which I would have done in any other situation... I stopped the nearest manager I could find and voiced my concerns to her. It was nice to see that their mgmt actually cares about their customers and their experiences. So the manager I spoke to told me she would rectify the situation at the end of the employees shift and then proceeded to help her bag my groceries along with another manager and a 3rd manager came and checked on the situation and they all offered me help out. That employee should not work in customer service if doing her job makes her look miserable...but thank you to mgmt and because of you Safeway did not lose a loyal customer this morning.

The nicest person I ever met in Bullhead City is Samantha Stevens. Not Samantha Steven's from Bewitched however, just as awesome and sweet. She took her time trying to fax 18 pages of paperwork to the VA for us and it was a pain. She tried seven or eight times until they all went through. I've never had better customer service in my life.

This place is super clean and all the clerks are friendly to you! I know Javier in the produce section! He always answers my questions when I have them! He's quick to give me recipes for different fruits and vegetables and knows a variety of ways for keeping them fresh longer! They are a little more expensive than Smiths in some products like your meats but in the long run it balances out! Safeway is located closer to home than Smiths so we visit it more regular!
