Beautiful park. As with any other parks in a growing city there are several bums. Hit and miss if you'll see something inappropriate! The city is always improving something there. There are several different activities you can enjoy while visiting. Bring lots of fluids, there are no vending machines but they do have a water fountain across from the basketball court. Not much shade yet but new trees have been planted.

Temperatures are extremely high in this area, shade is minimal to none near the river. Weekends are overly crowded. Highly recommend coming early to get a good location Parking rate is outrageous and cannot go in and out so make sure you have all of your essentials and stay hydrated

The park is beautiful this time of year. My Church Bethel Community Church did a baptism Saturday and it was amazing. We got a spot under the biggest tree and cooked hotdogs on the grill. We had a nice breeze coming off the water. It was just a wonderful day.
