After living all over the country and being a part of so many train clubs, historical societies, and rail enthusiasts, this place is no comparison! It exceeded out expectations of how fun the rails can be and just a stupendous staff makes the entire journey all the more enjoyable. I look forward to taking more time off work to enjoy another outing in the gorgeous woods along the rail line. Once is not enough, easy on the way to the turnaround point and then a great challange on the way back up the slight incline. You can get a solid workout if you want or you can enjoy a slow pedal while the motorized car helps you up the hill. Would love to see where the rails go in the opposite direction, but I know that would be twice as much to maintain. Overall I would recommend this high thrill adventure to anyone who loves the outdoors, trains, or just a good pedal through the forest!

Holy cow, this was so much fun! I can't recommend this enough; incredibly unique experience, beautiful views and where else are you going to pedal the rails like this!? Please give this thing a shot, the drive is worth it!

Such a great experience and a good work out; I like to call it a nature rollercoaster! 🤣 You start out with the guide going through all the safety and seating adjustments before riding and they say it's better to sit up front on the way down if you need assistance on the way back up. It's about 2 hours long and we sat in the back and had the group behind us help push us a couple times. Your seat can have a backpack strapped to the back and can hold a couple water bottles which is nice. Definitely recommend booking online and looking through all the information beforehand so you know all the requirements and what to bring. Also don't forget to pick up some cool gifts inside and they do welcome tips! :)

The staff was friendly, funny and helpful. This activity is physically demanding. You will cycle about 12 miles altogether so expect to put some work into it, drink plenty of water, and wear sunscreen. We had a blast! If you are unable to cycle, be sure to sit towards the guide and/ or sit with 4 adults so they can push you.

We went on the second weekend of their season and it was full. But you all start out together, then quickly separate. We never felt crowded despite there being 6 or 7 carts riding together. The only times we were all together were at the start, at the one major road crossing, and on the way back up the hill when the assist cart was helping us get up the hill.
Hi, yes definitely teenagers can come. We do need someone, a parent or guardian to sign the safety waiver. I can email one to you so you can get the appropriate signatures and bring the waiver with you signed.
Yes, we will be open the 4th of July weekend.
