We go to the Shelton library weekly and absolutely love it. The entire downstairs is the children and teen areas and besides the great variety of books, there’s an art table and a sensory bin, both of which are changed out regularly, and some toys for the kiddos to play and interact with. It’s one of our favorite regular activities! The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

This library is one of the best things in Shelton. Warm and helpful staff make every visit a nice one, whether we're there to get books, sit with little kids in the children's section, study in the stacks downstairs, print a bunch of pages, or use the multi-talented copier ("Sean, how do I send a FAX?"). During the 2020 pandemic, my family realized just how much we rely on the library. It's worth far more than what we spend in taxes for it.

Yes, you can. You will need a TRL library card (super easy to obtain) and to get the Libby by Overdrive app. All of this is free and takes ~10 mins to set up :-) Libby works with your library card and allows you to check books out on your Android, Kindle, or iPhone.

No, we are not participating in this and it doesn’t look like there’s a program in Shelton. Looking on the Imagination Library website it looks like anyone can start a program in their local area: https://imaginationlibrary.com/
