Renters BEWARE!!! I made a truck and car dolly rental 3 weeks prior to the date of pick-up. 24.5 hrs prior to picking it up, I was left a message that no trucks were available within 100 miles and my reservation was cancelled! My son was moving to Philadelphia to start a new job and we were moving him in the weekend before he was to start. Apparently a truck rental company that has been in business for 77 yrs does not know how to manage an inventory of vehicles. I did not see the message until 4pm that day. After 1.75 hrs trying to speak to someone, connecting to Buffalo NY (twice), Connecticut, Massachusetts and finally Syracuse, I was told nothing could be done. By now other rental places had closed for the day. I was left with no way to get furniture to Philly. Hertz has started to rent trucks - I hope they put U-Haul out of business! Use anyone else, maybe they will then get their act together!. I was told it was the "end of the month and we are busy" - that is why I made the reservation 3 weeks+ prior. I feel like I'm in a Seinfeld episode - "you can take a reservation but you can't hold a reservation" . Never again!

My spouse and I rented a truck to move to our new home. It is 100 miles from our previous address. Spouse put the new address into the system as out of town Destination. Somehow this was saved as an in town rental. Why would we rent a truck to drive 100 miles away and then go back to the same location we picked it up from and then have no way to get back to our new home? We used the service to get movers in both locations as well. When I went to drop the truck off at a local uhaul authorized drop site the app wouldnt let me drop it off. By this point i had already followed step 1 on the app which is to drop the key in the drop box. I called customer service to open a complaint and a rep told me the app wasnt working and that the technology wasnt working correctly. She took all the info and attached the number for our order of the movers. The next day my spouses bank account was drained out and they began to incur fees as a result. I called customer service again and asked to speak with a supervisor only to be told that because the site saved our reservation as in town we would be charged over $100 more than originally quoted and that they were unwilling to do anything about it. I watched my spouse fill out this order on your site and we ABSOLUTELY did not save this as an in town rental. It would have made no sense whatsoever. I will be posting this complaint on Twitter and google for all future customers to see. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You're service took an already financially and personally stressful time in someone's life and made it even worse.

Tried calling to verify the $68 price for propane as claimed by another reviewer and waited on the phone for 5 minutes. Got tired of waiting so I'll take my business elsewhere. Poor customer service.

Wow had the new guy help me out couldnt find the keys or van i booked over the phone he also was making fun of customers outside returning a truck and was rude all around i would of gave 1 star but the other guy was very personal and did a great job helping fix the others mistake. Never will return and headed to ryder rentals!
